1230 Privacy Policy
This policy explains how the 1230 platform collects, uses, and protects your personal information. The privacy of Malaysian users is our priority.
Effective date: 1 January 2026
What information do we collect from you?
When you register and use the 1230 platform, we collect several categories of information to ensure the service runs smoothly and securely. The types of information collected are as follows:
Personal account information
This includes your full name, email address, phone number, date of birth, and username provided during registration. This information is used to verify your identity and manage your 1230 account.
Device and browser information
We automatically record device type, operating system, browser version, IP address, and other technical data when you access the platform. This information is used to diagnose technical issues, prevent fraud, and improve platform performance across various devices, including Android and iOS phones.
Payment and transaction information
All transactions are processed in Malaysian Ringgit (MYR). We retain transaction records including deposit amounts, withdrawals, and transaction dates. Bank account or eWallet details (FPX, TNG) are not stored directly on our servers — they are handled through third-party payment gateways that meet high security standards. Only reference tokens are retained for account reconciliation purposes.
Platform usage data
We record games played, session duration, betting history, and navigation patterns within the platform. This data is used to personalise your experience, detect unusual activity, and develop new features more relevant to Malaysian users.
How is your information used?
Information collected by 1230 is used solely for legitimate and transparent purposes. We do not sell, rent, or lend your personal information to any third party for marketing purposes. The primary purposes for which data is used are as follows:
- Account management: Enabling you to log in, manage your profile, and access your transaction history.
- Transaction processing: Ensuring all deposits and withdrawals in MYR are processed accurately and securely.
- Security and fraud prevention: Detecting suspicious activity, preventing unauthorised access, and maintaining platform integrity.
- Service improvement: Analysing usage patterns to improve the interface, performance, and overall experience for Malaysian users.
- Service communications: Sending important notifications about your account, security, or policy changes via email or in-app.
- Legal compliance: Meeting local legal requirements, including anti-money laundering regulations where applicable.
Cookies and tracking — what you need to know
The 1230 platform uses cookies and similar tracking technologies to enhance your experience. Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you access the platform. We use three main types of cookies:
- Session cookies: Required to keep you logged in during an active session. These cookies are automatically deleted when you close your browser.
- Optional cookies: Saving your preferred language and display settings so you do not have to reconfigure them on every visit.
- Analytics cookies: Collecting anonymised data on how users interact with the platform for internal improvement purposes. This data is not linked to your personal identity.
You can manage cookie settings through your browser preferences. Please note that disabling session cookies may affect your ability to log in and access your account on the 1230 platform.
How is your data stored and protected?
Protecting user privacy is a core commitment at 1230. All data transmitted between your device and our servers is secured with SSL (Secure Sockets Layer) encryption, which prevents your information from being intercepted by unauthorised parties in transit.
Account and transaction data is stored on servers protected by a multi-layered security framework, including firewalls, role-based access controls, and 24/7 monitoring. Access to the user database is granted only to authorised personnel, and every access is logged for audit purposes.
Account information that has been inactive for more than 24 months may be archived in accordance with legal requirements. Data that is no longer needed will be securely deleted following approved data deletion procedures. 1230 does not store sensitive financial data (such as full bank card numbers) on our servers.
Third-party sharing — in limited circumstances
1230 only shares user information with third parties in very limited and necessary circumstances:
- Payment gateway providers (FPX, TNG) to process transactions in RM — only the information necessary to complete the transaction is shared.
- Malaysian government authorities where required by law, court order, or official investigation.
- Technical service providers who assist in platform operations, subject to strict confidentiality agreements.
In all of the above cases, data sharing is carried out with appropriate contractual safeguards and only to the extent necessary for the specific purpose.
